Description:

Wearable Polarizers is a bodice made of polarizer film tiles arranged at varying angles. To the naked eye, the tiles appear as a uniform dark material. When viewed through glasses fitted with rotating polarizer lenses, patterns hidden in the angles of the tiles are revealed. The piece investigates what it means to make something visible only under certain conditions through passive, analog displays.
